Book A Private Pottery Wheel Party @ Ceramics in the City

It’s time for you to try your hands at throwing pottery on a wheel.  This event is a great chance to get your hands muddy and celebrate with friends!  We will show you all the basics of throwing and then let you play!  Price of event includes keeping and firing 1 piece. (Additional pieces you wish to keep are only $10ea)  We will bisque fire your masterpiece(s) and glaze at no extra charge!  After you glaze your pottery.  Your glazed pottery will be food safe and beautiful.

We have 10 wheels.  Parties of more than 10 people will take turns on the wheel and we will make sure that everyone is successful in making a project!  Parties are 2 hours long and include supplies, instruction and 2 firings. You are welcome to bring beverages and snacks but your hands might get a little muddy so please keep that in mind.  Prices for private pottery parties vary based on the amount of guest.

-6 to 10 people $500
Add $50 for each additional guest up to 16 people total.  ie, 11 guests is $550, 12 guests $600 and so on.
(If you party is smaller than 6 people the price is $500)
Private wheel parties are great for ages 13 and up

All materials and instruction are included in the cost of this class.

Please note that registration is a firm commitment to attend the event and there are no refunds. There are no refunds for guest that do not show.

***Disclaimer: Due to the nature of kiln-fired arts, slight imperfections can occur. And on rare occasions, kiln fired pieces can crack, shatter or have an unexpected outcome during the firing process. While we take every precaution to ensure that this does not happen, there are some factors that are beyond our control. If a piece cracks or shatters, a store credit will be issued to repaint the same or another item of similar value.
