Butter Dish @ Ceramics in the City

In our clay hand-built butter dish making class, you will learn how to create a unique butter dish using ceramic clay. We will guide you through the entire process, from shaping the clay to putting it together. Our experienced instructors will show you how to use our tools and templates to create a beautiful and functional butter dish.

The class will require 2 visits. During the first visit, you will learn how to shape and assemble your butter dish. We will provide you with all the materials you need, including the clay, tools, and templates. Our instructors will be there to answer any questions you have and provide guidance throughout the process.

Once you have assembled your butter dish, you will need to return for a second visit to glaze it. You can schedule this time at your convenience, so you have plenty of time to think about the design and colors you want to use. We will provide you with a wide range of glazes to choose from, so you can create a butter dish that is truly unique.

This class is a great opportunity to learn a new skill and create something beautiful with your own hands. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced crafter, you will enjoy the creative process and the satisfaction of making something that is both beautiful and functional.

Cancellation Policy
Please note that registration is a firm commitment to attend the class and there are no refunds.  Instead you can reschedule for a different class up to 48 hours prior to the class start time through our website using the link found at the bottom of the site called “reschedule my ticket”.  There is a rescheduling fee.  You can also have someone else you choose take your place
