Couples Pottery – April 15th @ Ceramics in the City
Saturday April 15 @ 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm$125.00
Grab your date (or your best pal!) and try your hands at throwing pottery. This is a great way to try out pottery throwing without the big investment of time and cash. We will show you all the basics of throwing and then let you play! You will each get your own wheel to create from. Price of class includes keeping and firing 2 pieces per couple. (Additional pieces you wish to keep are only $10ea) We will bisque fire your masterpieces and you can return anytime to glaze at no extra charge! After you glaze your pottery we will fire it one more time so that it is food safe and beautiful.
All materials are included along with bisque firing AND glaze firing.
Steps to creating your own wheel thrown art:
Make your creations on the pottery wheel. When your pottery is dry we fire it. You will choose glaze color and we will glaze your pottery after it is bisque fired. (Allow up to 3 weeks from wheel class to pottery to be bisque fired then glazed and fired again.)
All materials and instruction are included in the cost of this class.
Please note that registration is a firm commitment to attend the class and there are NO refunds. Instead you can RESCHEDULE for a different class up to 48 hours prior to the class start time through our website using the link found at the bottom of the site called “reschedule my ticket“. You can also have someone else you choose take your place! We think your friends would love it. There is no last minute rescheduling. Thank you for your understanding.
***Disclaimer: Due to the nature of kiln-fired arts, slight imperfections can occur. And on rare occasions, kiln fired pieces can crack, shatter or have an unexpected outcome during the firing process. While we take every precaution to ensure that this does not happen, there are some factors that are beyond our control. If a piece cracks or shatters, a store credit will be issued to repaint the same or another item of similar value.
