Designer Cup @ Ceramics in the City

Put your personal stamp on a beautifully thrown cup in this creative and relaxing hand-decorating class. One of our expert pottery wheel instructors will throw and trim each cup ahead of time using durable stoneware clay, so you can jump straight into the fun part — carving, texture, and design.

You’ll work with leather-hard cups, using professional tools to carve patterns, add details, and make your cup completely your own. After class, we’ll bisque fire your piece, glaze it in the color of your choice, and glaze fire it for everyday use.

The result? A one-of-a-kind cup that’s food-safe, microwave- and dishwasher-safe, and made to be used and loved.

Because our classes are small and materials are prepared in advance, we are unable to offer refunds. If you need to change your plans, you may reschedule your class up to 48 hours prior to the start time using the “Reschedule My Ticket” link on our website (rescheduling fee applies). You may also transfer your spot to someone else.
