Intermediate Pottery Wheel Class

*** Voted Best Pottery Classes By Westword Readers!!***
Welcome to our advanced pottery class! This course is specifically designed for individuals who already possess some experience working with a pottery wheel. We expect participants to be familiar with essential techniques such as centering clay, opening up a form, pulling walls, and trimming pieces. Our goal is to help you refine these skills and elevate your craftsmanship.

Throughout the duration of this class, you will have the opportunity to explore a variety of exciting projects, including closed forms, jars, teapots, and more. We will encourage experimentation and creative expression, allowing you to develop your own unique style. All necessary materials, including clay, bisque firing, and glaze firing, are included in the course fee, so you can focus on creating without any additional financial concerns.

For those who are just starting in the world of pottery, we highly recommend enrolling in our beginner classes to build a solid foundation. This advanced class is tailored for those looking to master their techniques and take their pottery skills to the next level.

Classes will be held every Thursday, starting on Jan 8th  and running through Feb 12th.  We can’t wait to guide you on this exciting journey of pottery making and help you unleash your creativity!

Please Note:
Cancellations:
Because our classes are small and materials are prepared in advance,
we are unable to offer refunds. If you need to change your plans, you may reschedule your class up to 48 hours prior to the start time using the “Reschedule My Ticket” link on our website (rescheduling fee applies). You may also transfer your spot to someone else.

Disclaimer:
Due to the nature of kiln-fired art, slight imperfections or rare breakage can occur during firing. While we take every precaution, some outcomes are beyond our control. Class registration covers both the pottery piece
and the creative experience, so refunds are not offered. If a piece breaks during firing, a $10 store credit will be issued toward repainting the same or a similar item.
