Mother’s Day Pottery Wheel – Spoon Rest! (1:00pm) @ Ceramics in the City

Celebrate Mother’s Day with us!  Create your very own pottery wheel thrown spoon rest!  During this 1 hour “try-it” class we will show you the basics of the pottery wheel.  We will then teach you how to create your own spoon rest.  It is a simple 1 time class with great reward!  If you wish to create more than 1 spoon rest in the allotted time you are welcome.  It is only $10 for each additional piece.  Limit 5 please.

After you have created your masterpiece(s) we dry, bisque fire, and glaze fire your project.  Allow for 3 weeks to have your projects returned to you.  Projects are food safe, dishwasher safe, and oven & microwave safe.  Mom always says, “safety first!”.

This class is a 1 hour long class.

All materials and instruction are included in the cost of this class.

Cancellation Policy
Please note that registration is a firm commitment to attend the class and there are no refunds.  Instead you can RESCHEDULE for a different class up to 48 hours prior to the class start time through our website using the link found at the bottom of the site called “reschedule my ticket“.  You can also have someone else you choose take your place!  We think your friends would love it.  There is no last minute rescheduling.  Thank you for your understanding.

***Disclaimer: Due to the nature of kiln-fired arts, slight imperfections can occur. And on rare occasions, kiln fired pieces can crack, shatter or have an unexpected outcome during the firing process. While we take every precaution to ensure that this does not happen, there are some factors that are beyond our control. If a piece cracks or shatters, a store credit will be issued to repaint the same or another item of similar value.
